Optec form JV for CNG Project Philippines

Optec has moved into the fields of CNG and heavy engineering projects with this JV Project in the Philippines.

Project Leader Engineer Rocco says, “We are hopeful that the CNG will reach the Sucat Manila site by the second quarter 2010”.

Bad weather and the economic downturn have hit the project hard yet Optec and its project partners are confident that the CNG Terminal planned for Manila will be on-stream by 2010.

The plan is to deliver CNG to the heavy transport industry in the Philippines and in so doing reduce pollution and mitigate the increasing number of respiratory related deaths and illnesses in the Philippines.
